1. Information We Collect
Video Data: We collect video recordings of your crops captured through the app. These videos are uploaded to our secure storage on Cloudflare R2 and processed using Runpod GPU infrastructure.
Account & Company Data: We collect your name, email address, and company/farm details. This data is securely stored on our Cloud86 servers.
Technical Data: We may collect basic device information and log data to ensure the app functions correctly.
Note: FruitForecast does not collect or store your GPS geolocation data.
2. How We Use Your Data & AI Processing
Yield Forecasting: The primary use of your video data is to identify and count fruit or blossoms using AI to provide harvest predictions.
Model Training: To improve the accuracy of our computer vision technology, we use uploaded video data to train and refine our machine learning models.
Human Review: For quality assurance and "ground truth" tagging, authorized FruitForecast personnel may occasionally review video segments to ensure the AI's counting accuracy.
3. Data Storage and Retention
Retention Period: We retain your raw video files and the resulting yield metadata for as long as your account remains active.
Deletion: If you choose to delete your account, all associated video data and company records will be permanently purged from Cloudflare R2, Runpod, and Cloud86 within [Insert Days, e.g., 30] days.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
To provide our service, we share data with the following sub-processors:
Cloudflare (R2): For secure video and file storage.
Runpod: For AI/GPU processing and inference.
Cloud86: For hosting our primary databases and account information.
Render: For hosting our application services and backend logic.
5. Your Rights & Data Protection
As we operate under modern data protection standards (including GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:
Access your stored data.
Request the deletion of your account and all associated video files.
Opt-out of future data being used for model training
